The Wayside is music from the fringes, where loose ends and stray threads are woven into sounds and stories that are sincerely cynical and occasionally cosmic.

The band formed in 2015, when four meandering musical journeys brought influences from all around the country to the Pacific Northwest, where Shannon and Dan's songs and voices found their harmonious match, lifted and propelled by Bill and Brad's inspired grooves. The addition of Hank on fiddle a few years later completed the band's sound and spirit. 

For all the heart and soul that goes into crafting memorable original songs - like those on their album Anything But Blue - The Wayside is a live band at heart. From a low-key acoustic jam to an electrifying crescendo, they share a passion for moving audiences in the real-life moment.
